How do payments work?

A reasonable deposit secures the project and orders long-lead materials. Larger projects use a milestone-based draw schedule clearly outlined in the contract. Final payment is only due after the walkthrough, when you are genuinely satisfied with the finished work.

Do you pull permits?

Yes. Patriot Construction pulls all required city and county permits, coordinates inspections, and closes the project out with final documentation. We work with the permit offices in Davidson, Guilford, Forsyth, and Randolph counties regularly.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom remodel take?

A bathroom remodel typically runs three to five weeks. A full kitchen remodel runs six to ten weeks depending on cabinetry lead time. Whole-home interior renovations run three to six months. Every proposal includes a firm written timeline.

How long does a roof replacement take?

A standard asphalt-shingle roof replacement on an average Triad home takes one to two days from tear-off through cleanup. Metal and complex multi-pitch roofs can take three to five days. We dry-in the roof every night.

Can I stay in my home during a remodel?

For most single-room remodels, yes, we set up dust containment, protect your floors and finishes, and clean the work area at the end of every day. For larger renovations we phase the work to keep the kitchen and at least one bathroom functional throughout the project.

Can you build a home addition that matches my existing house?

Yes. Matching the existing home is the whole point of a good addition. We match the foundation type, the roof pitch, the trim profiles, the siding lap, the brick courses, and the window styles so the finished addition reads as if it has always been part of the house.

Do you do custom built-ins, mudrooms, and shiplap walls?

Absolutely. Custom carpentry is one of our six core trades. We design and build mudrooms, libraries, fireplace surrounds, window seats, shiplap and board-and-batten walls, custom closets, and built-in cabinetry, in-house, by carpenters who care about fit and finish.

Can you handle an insurance claim for a storm-damaged roof?

Yes. Timothy Ray has handled many insurance claims for storm-damaged roofs in the Triad. We meet your adjuster on-site, document the damage properly, scope the work to North Carolina building code, and ensure your claim covers everything that needs to be done.

What is your warranty?

Patriot Construction stands behind our workmanship and addresses any craftsmanship issues that arise after completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials and product systems apply on top of our labor warranty. Specific warranty terms are written into every contract before work begins.
