A premium architectural shingle roof should last twenty-five to thirty years. The difference between getting that life and getting fifteen years of leaks is everything underneath the shingles — proper deck preparation, synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the valleys and along the eaves, and step flashing detailed correctly at every penetration. Patriot Construction does it the long way, every time.
On the Roof in 24 Hours After a Storm
When the Triad gets a hailstorm or a microburst, we mobilize immediately for tarp-and-stabilize work and full insurance documentation. We work directly with NC adjusters from State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Farm Bureau, and Erie — we know the language, we know the photos they need, and we'll be standing on your roof with the adjuster on inspection day to make sure the claim covers what it should.

A standard tear-off and replacement on a 2,000–3,500 square foot NC home typically takes one to two days. Larger or more complex roofs can take three days. We tarp and protect all landscaping and clean every nail off the property before we leave.
